Barney Burman, the owner and creative director of proteusfx, had already esablished himself with a long and well respected career in the field of film and television. He has been considered within the make-up community as a "go-to-guy" whenever a complicated or intricate make-up is to be accomplished quickly and accurately. In addition to acting as Department Head of Make-up and Make-up fx on many shows over the past 20 years, Barney, while working for some of the biggest names in Make-up, has made significant contributions to over a hundred films. Now, through Proteus fx, he continues to create art which will help make the movie going experience a far more memorable one.
